Our Target Group

Target Group:

The target group of the project is the children who are in the critical situation by the way of HIV/AIDS parents. In the recent survey / screening conducted by the State AIDS Control Society, Goa, the total population of the AIDS cases found in Goa city is 8485. Out of this population 6363 male and 2122 female are affected with AIDS. This population was counted up to October 2003 and every month this population is increasing gradually. During October 2006, there are 187 new cases identified in Goa city itself. Out of them 141 male and 46 female are affected with HIV/AIDS. This shows that there is gradual increasing in the affected victims of HIV/AIDS. In seeing the Mortality rate, the report says that there are 256 adults died during 2006. It is a known fact that their children will be in an abandoned condition. In our observation, even their friends and relatives afraid / hesitate to give life to these children. As organization promoted for ministry and charity purpose it is our duty to take care of these children to become a fruitful citizen.
